Time: 9 – 3:30 pm
Fee: $250, includes tax and activity book. Note: fees are tax deductible
KidSport is offering several $100 bursaries to families in each community. Please view funding application for more information.
Location of courses: North Okanagan Sailing Association
We are located 10 minutes west of downtown Vernon on Okanagan Landing Road. Turn right into Paddle Wheel Park and we are situated next to the New Okanagan Landing Community Hall.

What should I bring to the sailing course?
BC Sailing in partnership with your local sailing club will provide all the necessary equipment including lifejackets. The sailors will need to bring:

What should I bring to the sailing course?
BC Sailing in partnership with your local sailing club will provide all the necessary equipment including lifejackets. The sailors will need to bring:
- water bottle
- lunch
- sunscreen
- hat
- appropriate clothing for the weather (rain or shine). Note: temperatures on the water are often much cooler than on land
- closed-toe shoes (ie - old runners or Aquasocks)
- a change of clothes (you will get wet)
- towel
