The sportalliance is currently seeking bid submissions for the upcoming Games in 2013 - 2015!! We encourage your community to review the Bid Guidelines and realize the benefits of being part of a great program. Communities who have hosted the Ontario Games in the past have experienced a significant economic impact:

| 2010 Ontario 55+ Summer Games | $1.4 Million | Oshawa |

Additional benefits to hosting include:
- Legacy of sporting facilities and equipment that can be used by the community members or for future events
- Sport Tourism and Event hosting experience providing opportunity to gain experience for future events
- Volunteer training
- Community Pride
"Muskoka and it’s partner communities has benefitted greatly from the Ontario Winter Games," said Scott Aitchison, 2010 Ontario Winter Games Chair. "Not only in 2010, but before and after the Games, Muskoka has been impacted both socially and economically. The Games have allowed us to showcase our community as a desirable sport tourism destination for up to 27 sport organizations and demonstrated what we can achieve."
