About Cascadia Yacht Club
The Cascadia Yacht Club was formed by BC Sailing for individuals wishing to participate in sailing events in BC, but do not have access to a local recognized yacht club.  The Cascadia Yacht Club is open to all sailors in BC, including both dinghy and keelboat racers.

The membership fee for the Cascadia Yacht Club is $30 per year.  The membership is valid from January 1st to December 31.  Joining the Cascadia Yacht Club also includes BC Sailing and CYA membership.  The Board of Director for the Cascadia Yacht Club is the current BC Sailing Executive.

Why Join Cascadia
In order to race in Canada, each competitor mush show Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) membership.  Members of yacht clubs recognized by BC Sailing are members of both BC Sailing and CYA.  However, not all yacht clubs or sailing clubs are recognized, and some clubs have long waiting lists to become a member.  Membership in the Cascadia Yacht Club provides BC Sailing and CYA membership.
