To recert as a Life Saving Society Boat Rescue Instructor, please followed the instructi
1. Request a recert package with payment ($25.00)
Resources to be received:
• Boat Rescue Award Guide
• Lifesaving Instructor Notes: Evaluating the Lifesaving Program
• Boat Rescue Instructor Recert Assignment (should hopefully only take 2hours or so)
• Additional information pieces
2. Complete the assignment
3. Return it to the office
4. Upon approval we will recertify and send out a certification card.
If you want to become a Boat Rescue Instructor this is the process:
1. Pre-requisites:
• Bronze Medallion or higher
• Boat Rescue
• LSI or an instructional background
• Boating Experience
2. If you meet the pre-requisites submit an application with payment - $40.00.
3. Once approved we will send out an BR Instructor package with an assignment similar to the recert assignment.
4. Return the completed assignment and we will certify the award.
