Competition - Women's Sailing

Women participants are active in sailing as racers, cruisers, race management, judges and volunteers.  Women in Wind clinics are established to further encourage women’s involvement.  Member clubs and schools can apply for financial and personal assistance from the Women in Wind program for programs aimed at increasing women’s involvement in sailing.  In addition, there are women only events, such as keelboat racing clinics and regattas.

This year, the English Bay Scramble will have a women's division, with an award for the fastest all-female crew!  The August 16th race is hosted by Tiddly Cove Yacht Club.  More information can be found on their website at www.tiddlycove.bc.ca.
